I'm home from vacation and reality has hit again :(
Well, unfortunately my vacation had to end and I'm back to work and all that stuff. I think that a few days vacation after vacation is necessary, don't you? I think that we need a few days to get life back into order.
I made the mistake of having a July 4th party/house-warming party the day after we got home from vacation. What was I thinking? I wasn't ready! At least the party was okay -- I mean, really, as long as you feed people and give them cold beverages, they are usually fine. The boys remained the back yard getting eaten alive by mosquitoes, while the ladies were inside having a good ol' chat and looking at my old scrapbooks (ha ha...very bad pictures of me).
Now I'm back at work and I wish I wasn't. I don't know what all these lawyers do when we are on vacation -- who can they harass constantly for transcripts they don't really need that will just sit on their desks? Huh? Huh?
Anyway, Special Olympic provincials was a blast! I coach Rythmic Gymnastics and Brian coaches Competative Swimming. My girls did an awesome job -- some of them really surprised me. In practice they were in la-la land, and they pulled off their routines in front of the judges no problemo! They can be sneaky!
All right, I'm off to work on a Photography 101 class that I'm teaching tonight.

Hi Devynn,
We're here with Alyson, and she showed us the cute pics you took of her boys. I recognized your last name and realized that you are Val Bohn's sister-in-law. I'm Stacie and my husband is Kevin Kloosterman, and we're from Sycamore, Illinois, and we are friends with Brian's family from when they lived there. What a small world! Kevin is from Calgary and is Alyson's cousin. I remembered that Val said her brother was going to med school here. Anyway -- you take wonderful pictures, and please tell Val hello from the Kloostermans the next time you talk to her!
